Hebrews 5:13,14
13 For everyone who partakes
only of milk is unskilled in the word of righteousness, for he is a babe.
14 But solid food belongs to those who are of full age, that is, those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil (NKJV).
B. After you have been prayed for and someone asks you how you feel, what will your answer be?
1. Answer #1
a Some may say: “I thought I got healed, but I still feel sick” or “I am still in pain. I guess I’ll have to be prayed for again.”
b. If that is your answer, you will stay sick.
2. Answer #2
a. Others may say: “I am healed because the Bible says, ‘They shall lay hands on the sick and they shall recover.’”
OR
b. “I know I am healed because the Bible says, ‘By His stripes I was healed’; and my God said, ‘I am the Lord who heals you.’”
c. If that is your answer, and you believe it, you will be healed.
C. Faith in God’s Word is the only thing that works.
D. Faith disregards everything but God’s Word.
I Kings 8:56 – “Blessed be the LORD, who has given rest to His people Israel, according to all that He promised. There has not failed one word of all His good promise, which He promised through His servant Moses” (NKJV).
Ezekiel 12:25 – “For I am the LORD. I speak, and the word which I speak will come to pass; it will no more be postponed; for in your days, O rebellious house, I will say the word and perform it,” says the Lord GOD’” (NKJV).
2 Corinthians 1:20 - For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us (NKJV).
2 Corinthians 1:24 – Not that we have dominion over your faith, but are fellow workers for your joy; for by faith you stand (NKJV).
Psalm 119:89 - Forever, O LORD, Your word is settled in heaven (NKJV).
Job 22:21-28
21“Now acquaint yourself with
Him, and be at peace; Thereby good will come to you.
22 Receive, please, instruction from His mouth, And lay up His words in your heart.
23 If you return to the Almighty, you will be built up; You will remove iniquity far from your tents.
24 Then you will lay your gold in the dust, And the gold of Ophir among the stones of the brooks.
25 Yes, the Almighty will be your gold And your precious silver;
26 For then you will have your delight in the Almighty, And lift up your face to God.
27 You will make your prayer to Him, He will hear you, And you will pay your vows.
28 You will also declare a thing, And it will be established for you; So light will shine on your ways (NKJV).
DECREE THIS:
The hand of the Lord, the hand of healing, has come upon me. I discern it now.
The Lord has sent His Word and healed me.
By His stripes, I was healed.
God’s promise to me is life and health to all my flesh.
God has taken sickness away from me, and the number of my days I shall fulfill.
My God is the Lord who healed me.
Forever, O Lord, Your word is settled in heaven.
I touched the Lord and He healed me.
My Lord, Jesus the Christ, is the same yesterday, today, and forever.
He is moved with compassion and has healed me.
