Miracle Healing Service – September 27, 2018
Jesus is STILL the Healer!

  1. Jesus is STILL the Healer!
  2. He healed them all.

Matthew 12:15 – But when Jesus knew it, He withdrew from there. And great multitudes followed Him, and He healed them all (NKJV).

  1. All that touched Him were healed.

Matthew 14:35,36
35 And when the men of that place recognized Him, they sent out into all that surrounding region, brought to Him all who were sick,

36 and begged Him that they might only touch the hem of His garment. And as many as touched it were made perfectly well (NKJV).

  1. His power healed them all.

Luke 6:19 – And the whole multitude sought to touch Him, for power went out from Him and healed them all (NKJV).

  1. Satan is the curser.
  2. The devil is the oppressor.

Acts 10:38 – “…how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him”(NKJV).

  1. Satan binds with sickness.

Luke 13:16 –“So ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan has bound--think of it--for eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the Sabbath?” (NKJV).

  1. Jesus destroys Satan’s work.

1 John 3:8 – He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil (NKJV).

  1. Jesus corrects our doctrine and increases our faith.
  2. He came to correct doctrine concerning the root of sin and sickness.

Now as Jesus passed by, He saw a man who was blind from birth. And His disciples asked Him, saying, “Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?” Jesus answered, “Neither this man nor his parents sinned, but that the works of God should be revealed in him. I must work the works of Him who sent Me while it is day; the night is coming when no one can work. As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.” When He had said these things, He spat on the ground and made clay with the saliva; and He anointed the eyes of the blind man with the clay. And He said to him, “Go, wash in the pool of Siloam” (which is translated, Sent). So he went and washed, and came back seeing (John 9:1-7).

  1. There is no punctuation in the Greek, and verses 3 and 4 would probably be best punctuated as follows and better fit the whole counsel of God's Word:

Jesus answered, “Neither this man nor his parents sinned. But that the works of God should be revealed in him, I must work the works of Him who sent Me, while it is day: the night is coming, when no one can work.”
