Miracle Healing Service – August 23, 2018
Our Healing Took Place in the Courts of Heaven

  1. The highest demonstration of the justice of God in the Old Testament is the Passover.
  2. The deliverance of Israel is executed.

Exodus 12:7-13
7 ‘And they shall take some of the blood and put it on the two doorposts and on the lintel of the houses where they eat it.

8 ‘Then they shall eat the flesh on that night; roasted in fire, with unleavened bread and with bitter herbs they shall eat it.

9 ‘Do not eat it raw, nor boiled at all with water, but roasted in fire--its head with its legs and its entrails.

10 ‘You shall let none of it remain until morning, and what remains of it until morning you shall burn with fire.

11 ‘And thus you shall eat it: with a belt on your waist, your sandals on your feet, and your staff in your hand. So you shall eat it in haste. It is the LORD’S Passover.

12 ‘For I will pass through the land of Egypt on that night, and will strike all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgment: I am the LORD.

13 ‘Now the blood shall be a sign for you on the houses where you are. And when I see the blood, I will pass over you; and the plague shall not be on you to destroy you when I strike the land of Egypt’ (NKJV).

  1. The deliverance was with signs and wonders.

Psalms 105:36,37
36 He also destroyed all the firstborn in their land, The first of all their strength.

37 He also brought them out with silver and gold, And there was none feeble among His tribes (NKJV).

  1. God completed the deliverance with the vanquishing of Israel’s enemies.

Exodus 14:13,14,19-27
13 And Moses said to the people, “Do not be afraid. Stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which He will accomplish for you today. For the Egyptians whom you see today, you shall see again no more forever.

14 “The LORD will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace.”

19 And the Angel of God, who went before the camp of Israel, moved and went behind them; and the pillar of cloud went from before them and stood behind them.

20 So it came between the camp of the Egyptians and the camp of Israel. Thus it was a cloud and darkness to the one, and it gave light by night to the other, so that the one did not come near the other all that night.

21 Then Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and the LORD caused the sea to go back by a strong east wind all that night, and made the sea into dry land, and the waters were divided.

22 So the children of Israel went into the midst of the sea on the dry ground, and the waters were a wall to them on their right hand and on their left.

23 And the Egyptians pursued and went after them into the midst of the sea, all Pharaoh’s horses, his chariots, and his horsemen.

24 Now it came to pass, in the morning watch, that the LORD looked down upon the army of the Egyptians through the pillar of fire and cloud, and He troubled the army of the Egyptians.

25 And He took off their chariot wheels, so that they drove them with difficulty; and the Egyptians said, “Let us flee from the face of Israel, for the LORD fights for them against the Egyptians.”

26 Then the LORD said to Moses, “Stretch out your hand over the sea, that the waters may come back upon the Egyptians, on their chariots, and on their horsemen.”

27 And Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and when the morning appeared, the sea returned to its full depth, while the Egyptians were fleeing into it. So the LORD overthrew the Egyptians in the midst of the sea (NKJV).

  1. Isaiah the prophet declared the details of work the Messiah would accomplish.

  1. Jesus was rejected by those blinded by religion.

Isaiah 53:3 – He is despised and rejected by men, A Man of sorrows and acquainted with grief. And we hid, as it were, our faces from Him; He was despised, and we did not esteem Him (NKJV).

  1. The Messiah starts the legal exchange with our healing – “griefs” means sickness or disease; “sorrows” means pain.

Isaiah 53:4 – Surely He has borne our griefs And carried our sorrows; Yet we esteemed Him stricken, Smitten by God, and afflicted (NKJV).

  1. The Messiah paid the price for our sin nature and personal sins, and for our shalom peace, then brings it full circle back to healing.

Isaiah 53:5 – But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed (NKJV).

“Wounded” – pierced through

“Transgressions” – sin of revolt, like Satan

“Bruised” – crushed

“Iniquities” – perversion from design

“Shalom” – perfect peace

  1. Paul declared the power of this legal exchange.
  2. The power for deliverance is in the Crucifixion.

1 Corinthians 2:1-5
2:1 And I, brethren, when I came to you, did not come with excellence of speech or of wisdom declaring to you the testimony of God.

2 For I determined not to know anything among you except Jesus Christ and Him crucified.

3 I was with you in weakness, in fear, and in much trembling.

4 And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power,

5 that your faith should not be in the wisdom of men but in the power of God (NKJV).

  1. The perishing, unsaved people think it foolishness.

1 Corinthians 1:18 – For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God (NKJV).

  1. Satan will look for a legal reason to bring sickness on any human, to devour them.

1 Peter 5:8 – Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour (NKJV).

  1. David knew sin brought sickness.

Psalm 32:1-3
1 Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, Whose sin is covered.

2 Blessed is the man to whom the LORD does not impute iniquity, And in whose spirit there is no deceit.

3 When I kept silent, my bones grew old Through my groaning all the day long (NKJV).

  1. “The accuser” is a legal term meaning a complainant at law. The one accusing you is overcome by the Blood of the Lamb in the courts of heaven.

Revelation 12:10,11
10 Then I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, “Now salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God day and night, has been cast down.

11 “And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death (NKJV).

  1. One key way the devil files suit against you is through the bloodline.

We cut off Satan’s power by repenting for our ancestors’ sins.

Matthew 23:29-33
29 “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! Because you build the tombs of the prophets and adorn the monuments of the righteous,

30 “and say, ‘If we had lived in the days of our fathers, we would not have been partakers with them in the blood of the prophets.’

31 “Therefore you are witnesses against yourselves that you are sons of those who murdered the prophets.

32 “Fill up, then, the measure of your fathers’ guilt.

33 “Serpents, brood of vipers! How can you escape the condemnation of hell? (NKJV).
