The Flow of God’s Power – to You and through You

  1. God’s Spirit dwells in born-again Christians and produces life power.

Romans 8:11 – But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.

  1. The Holy Spirit is the power source that raised Jesus from the dead.
  2. The power source is living in you now that you are born again.
  3. That power source will give life to your mortal body to keep it well until the human body’s expiration date, which is 120 years.

Genesis 6:3 – And the Lord said, “My Spirit shall not strive, (abide) with man forever, for he is indeed flesh; yet his days shall be one hundred twenty years.”

  1. The human body operates on electrical impulses produced by chemical reactions. These reactions are the result of the body’s processing of nutrients, involving the digestive and respiratory systems. The potential energy is transported throughout the entire human body by the cardio-vascular system.

  1. In simple terms, your human body is a perpetual, self-regenerating mechanism, run by self-generating power. We are human, self-recharging batteries.
  2. When God inserted His Holy Spirit into you at the new birth, along with His Holy Spirit regenerating power, you now have the potential for miraculous regeneration. When we learn how to release this power throughout our bodies, supernatural regeneration takes place.
  3. God’s power, His presence and His glory, flow like electricity. We simply need to complete the circuit.

  1. You must see that healing is a promise from God to those who have made His Son Jesus their Lord.

2 Corinthians 1:20 – For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us (NKJV).

Matthew 8:3 – Then Jesus put out His hand and touched him, saying, “I am willing; be cleansed.” Immediately his leprosy was cleansed (NKJV).

Matthew 8:17 – that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying: “He Himself took our infirmities And bore our sicknesses” (NKJV).

It is as if Jesus Himself is telling each of us, “I took your infirmity and bore your sicknesses. I want you healed! It’s the Father’s promise and My promise to you.”

  1. When we represent Christ, we are authorized to teach faith to others and then to pray, adding our faith to theirs, then God’s promises are manifested.

“Most believers who receive divine healing from the Lord do so with a combination of their own faith and the agreement – or combined faith – of another.” – Kenneth E. Hagin

Matthew 9:29 – Then He touched their eyes, saying, “According to your faith let it be to you” (NKJV).

1 John 5:14,15
14 Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.

15 And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him (NKJV).

Matthew 18:19 –“Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven (NKJV).

Jesus is saying to each of us, “Your faith will get this done. You’ve asked according to My will and united your faith with another believer’s agreement power, so My answer is obviously “Yes! Receive it!”

  1. Be mindful that you are Christ’s ambassador. You represent Him with knowledge and authority.

2 Corinthians 5:17-21
17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.

18 Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation,

19 that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation.

20 Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God.

21 For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him (NKJV).

God is saying to each of us, “I made you a member of My family by simply making you a new person. I did this miraculous exchange for you through My Son, exchanging your sinfulness for His righteousness and exchanging your sickness for His divine health and wholeness. Not only that, but now, as My ambassador, you can deliver this offer to others as well.”
