Introduction: Understand that there is a huge difference between inheriting the Kingdom of God and going to heaven after you die.
A. Our co-inclusion in the promises
1. We are joint heirs with Christ.
Romans 8:17 – and if children, then heirs--heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together (NKJV).
2. We are heirs of promise.
Hebrews 6:17 – Thus God, determining to show more abundantly to the heirs of promise the immutability of His counsel, confirmed it by an oath (NKJV).
B. It is God’s will that we receive the promises.
1. We follow faith leaders.
Hebrews 6:12 –that you do not become sluggish, but imitate those who through faith and patience inherit the promises (NKJV).
2. We inherit all good things.
Revelation 2:7 –“He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes I will give to eat from the tree of life, which is in the midst of the Paradise of God”’ (NKJV).
C. Jesus left us a will containing our inheritance.
1. We use faith to know what inheritance we have in the will.
Hebrews 11:1 –Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen (NKJV).
In addition:
a. Faith is the title-deed for thing you have hoped for, the putting-to-proof of things unseen.
b. Faith is the title-deed to the property you know you possess, even though you have not seen it yet.
2. Faith comes by co-knowing what God knows about the inheritance He has promised you in His will.
Romans 10:17 – So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God (NKJV).
F. F. Bosworth said, “Before you can have a steadfast faith for the healing of your body, you must be rid of all uncertainty concerning God’s will in the matter. Appropriating faith cannot go beyond your knowledge of the revealed will of God.
“Jesus said, ‘The Word is the seed’ (Luke 8:11). It is the seed of divine life. Until you are sure from God’s Word that it is His will to heal you, you are trying to reap a harvest where no seed has been planted. It would be impossible for a farmer to have faith for a harvest before seed was planted.”
D. The will of God contains all of the promises – in seed form – that He has placed in our inheritance.

Matthew 8:17 – that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying: “He Himself took our infirmities And bore our sicknesses” (NKJV).
1 Peter 2:24 – who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness--by whose stripes you were healed (NKJV).
James 5:14 – Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord (NKJV).
John 8:32 – “And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free”(NKJV).
Psalm 107:20 – He sent His word and healed them, And delivered them from their destructions (NKJV).
Psalm 103:3 –Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases (NKJV).
Jeremiah 17:14 – Heal me, O LORD, and I shall be healed; Save me, and I shall be saved, For You are my praise (NKJV).

4 Surely He has borne
our griefs And carried our sorrows; Yet we esteemed Him stricken, Smitten by
God, and afflicted.
