Our key faith-for-miracles verses:

Mark 9:23 – Jesus said to him, “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes (NKJV).

Mark 5:36 – As soon as Jesus heard the word that was spoken, He said to the ruler of the synagogue, “Do not be afraid; only believe” (NKJV).

1.       Jesus told me, “You don’t need to worry.”

2.      He also said, “I’ve got this, so we’ve got this!”

B.         Three steps to receive a miracle:

1.      Hear from God – the Father, the Son, or the Holy Spirit.

2.      Do whatever God says to do.

3.      Let God do the miraculous.

C.         The Nobleman from Capernaum

John 4:46-49
46 So Jesus came again to Cana of Galilee where He had made the water wine. And there was a certain nobleman whose son was sick at Capernaum.

47 When he heard that Jesus had come out of Judea into Galilee, he went to Him and implored Him to come down and heal his son, for he was at the point of death.

48 Then Jesus said to him, “Unless you people see signs and wonders, you will by no means believe.”

49 The nobleman said to Him, “Sir, come down before my child dies!”(NKJV).

1.      The nobleman had it stuck in his mind that Jesus had to come to his house to heal his son, but Jesus was a day’s journey from Capernaum.

2.      At first, the nobleman was much like Naaman the Leper.

2 Kings 5:10,11
10 And Elisha sent a messenger to him, saying, “Go and wash in the Jordan seven times, and your flesh shall be restored to you, and you shall be clean.”

11 But Naaman became furious, and went away and said, “Indeed, I said to myself, ‘He will surely come out to me, and stand and call on the name of the LORD his God, and wave his hand over the place, and heal the leprosy (NKJV).

3.      Then the nobleman heard and believed God’s Word.

John 4:50-54
50 Jesus said to him, “Go your way; your son lives.” So the man believed the word that Jesus spoke to him, and he went his way.

51 And as he was now going down, his servants met him and told him, saying, “Your son lives!”

52 Then he inquired of them the hour when he got better. And they said to him, “Yesterday at the seventh hour the fever left him.”

53 So the father knew that it was at the same hour in which Jesus said to him, “Your son lives.” And he himself believed, and his whole household.

54 This again is the second sign Jesus did when He had come out of Judea into Galilee (NKJV).

4.       Having heard the word from Jesus, the nobleman surely encouraged himself throughout the day’s journey home in order to stop the fear and stay in faith.
