Students: Where do you want to study?

  1. Know that the age of miracles has not passed, and that physical healing is part of Christ’s ministry today.

Malachi 3:6a – “For I am the LORD, I do not change” (NKJV).

Hebrews 13:8 – Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever (NKJV).

  1. Know God’s promises to heal in the Scriptures, and be convinced that they are for you personally.

Jeremiah 1:12 –Then the LORD said to me, “You have seen well, for I am ready to perform My word” (NKJV).

Isaiah 55:11 – “So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it” (NKJV).

Matthew 24:35 – “Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away” (NKJV).

  1. Understand that God wants you to be well; only Satan wants you to suffer.

John 10:10 – “The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly” (NKJV).

Luke 13:11-16
11 And behold, there was a woman who had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and was bent over and could in no way raise herself up.

12 But when Jesus saw her, He called her to Him and said to her, “Woman, you are loosed from your infirmity.”

13 And He laid His hands on her, and immediately she was made straight, and glorified God.

14 But the ruler of the synagogue answered with indignation, because Jesus had healed on the Sabbath; and he said to the crowd, “There are six days on which men ought to work; therefore come and be healed on them, and not on the Sabbath day.”

15 The Lord then answered him and said, “Hypocrite! Does not each one of you on the Sabbath loose his ox or donkey from the stall, and lead it away to water it?

16 “So ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan has bound--think of it--for eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the Sabbath?” (NKJV).

  1. Understand that physical healing is a part of salvation.

Psalm 103:3 – Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases (NKJV).

  1. Ask the Lord to heal you according to His promise, and believe that He hears your prayer.

Psalm 103:13 –As a father pities his children, So the LORD pities those who fear Him (NKJV).

Hebrews 4:16 – Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need (NKJV).

  1. Believe when you pray that you have received what you asked for.

Isaiah 53:5 – But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed (NKJV).

1 Peter 2:24 – who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness--by whose stripes you were healed (NKJV).

Mark 11:24 – “Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them” (NKJV).

  1. Praise the Lord for the answer to your prayer and act on His promise.

Romans 4:18-21
18 who, contrary to hope, in hope believed, so that he became the father of many nations, according to what was spoken, “So shall your descendants be.”

19 And not being weak in faith, he did not consider his own body, already dead (since he was about a hundred years old), and the deadness of Sarah’s womb.

20 He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God,

21 and being fully convinced that what He had promised He was also able to perform (NKJV).
