Divine Healing of Finances
Introduction: Soul prosperity comes first. Then comes prosperity in all areas of life and health.
3 John 2 – Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers (NKJV).
- What do you need to do in order to have a prosperous soul?
- You must be born again.
John 3:3 – Jesus answered and said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God” (NKJV).
- You must be filled with the Holy Spirit and pray in tongues.
Acts 2:4 – And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance (NKJV).
- You must understand the rightly-divided Word of truth.
2 Tim. 2:15 – Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth (NKJV).
- You must be a true disciple who continues in the Lord’s Word.
John 8:31, 32
31 Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, “If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed.
32 “And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free” (NKJV).
- You must always be in pursuit of being complete and thoroughly equipped.
2 Timothy 3:16,17
16 All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness,
17 that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work (NKJV).
- You must be transformed by the renewing of our mind.
Romans 12:2 – And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God (NKJV).
- Building our foundation for prospering in all areas of life
- Recognize God’s love for us, His human family, made completely like Him, with dominion over life.
Genesis 1:26,27
26 Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.”
27 So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them (NKJV).
- Recognize that God blessed His human family in order for them to be fruitful (prosperous in all things) and multiply (expand a healthy family).
Genesis 1:28 – Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth” (NKJV).
- God set His family up to succeed by the BLESSING power (Genesis 2:15-18, 21-25).
- The first Adam failed and lost the blessing power (the presence of the Holy Spirit) (Genesis 3:4-7).
- The Last Adam, our Savior Jesus, regained and restored the BLESSING power of the presence of the Holy Spirit back to the human family.
1 Cor. 15:45-49
45 And so it is written, “The first man Adam became a living being.” The last Adam became a life-giving spirit.
46 However, the spiritual is not first, but the natural, and afterward the spiritual.
47 The first man was of the earth, made of dust; the second Man is the Lord from heaven.
48 As was the man of dust, so also are those who are made of dust; and as is the heavenly Man, so also are those who are heavenly.
49 And as we have borne the image of the man of dust, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly Man (NKJV).
- Jesus returned to mankind everything that Adam lost.
2 Cor. 8:9 – For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, that you through His poverty might become rich (NKJV).
2 Cor. 9:8 – And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work (NKJV).
