Your “secret place” prayer life is essential to your survival.
Psalm 91:1, 2, 9,10
1 He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
2 I will say of the LORD, “He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust.”
9 Because you have made the LORD, who is my refuge, Even the Most High, your dwelling place,
10 No evil shall befall you, Nor shall any plague come near your dwelling (NKJV).
Psalm 23:1-3, 6
1 The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.
2 He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters.
3 He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness for His name’s sake.
6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; And I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever (NKJV).
- You must have the “secret place” power.
Luke 24:49 –“Behold, I send the Promise of My Father upon you; but tarry in the city of Jerusalem until you are endued with power from on high” (NKJV).
Acts 1:4,5
4 And being assembled together with them, He commanded them not to depart from Jerusalem, but to wait for the Promise of the Father, “which,” He said, “you have heard from Me;
5 “for John truly baptized with water, but you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now” (NKJV).
Jude 20 – But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit (NKJV).
- You must dwell in and believe in all the words of Jesus.
Hebrews 1:1,2
1 God, who at various times and in various ways spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets,
2 has in these last days spoken to us by His Son, whom He has appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the worlds (NKJV).
John 8:31, 32
31 Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, “If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed.
32 “And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free” (NKJV).
